My first puffer was between my fahaka or a hairy... But hairys sell for 200+ here so I bought the fahaka instead

I have three... 10 inch fahaka names phil, 4.5 inch arrowhea named dale, and a baby congo named deaner Very cool group of puffers you have. So this poll apparently proves it is impossible to own four puffers. :D They're all so very different... But thankfully the fahaka eats dead foods otherwise li...

Using the tetra product, and I threw on a filter running on an existing tank on top of the new one

Yeah I'm going today to get more decos... Didn't plan on getting a new puffer, then saw him at the store so I bought a whole new set up haha his name is deaner

Seems to be getting used to his surroundings, except he always darkens when I go near the tank...

New 1 inch or smaller congo
Just picked up the little guy today, to add to my growing collection (fahaka and arrowhead)... When they're so small what would you feed them? He's also in a 30 gal with 3.5 inch fine sand substrate... Pics to come

I've tried everything I feed to my fahaka.. Shrimp, scallops, oysters, mussels, clam, smelts, whole baby squids... I spoil the big guy with a huge variety of foods... I'll have to try worms for both of them! And I've tried using forceps, fishing line

Still no way to get my arrowhead on dead food
Had dale for about 2-3 months now, but I've tried everything possible to try and get him to eat dead food... All he will eat is live crayfish, crabs, and my own tank bred platys... Arrowhead puffer
Just got one today, threw it into my existing 40 gallon (fully cycled of course)... anything special I should know or be warned about?

good call actually... on another note.... I have three HOB filters running, Fluval c3/c4 and an emperor 400... is that overkill on a 120??

I see it as the same as a fahaka being put into a 24 inch deep aquarium... gives them 6+ inches of grace while turning... using those same principles he should be fine till that point
