I have a little in my F8 tank. Should I worry or is it no big deal? Also aquarium is going on 8 months old, still battling brown algae. I now have some light green algae growing between the sand and the glass. Does this mean brown algae is almost finished and I will move on to another kind of algae?...

Can f8s live in full marine?

Oh I try to leave the light on for around 8 hrs a day.

No I do not have a phosphate test kit.

Sun hits one bottom corner for maybe 30 mins a day.

Tank is very close to a window. I don't know if this makes a difference.

On the diy co2, couldnt you just take it out at night? Put the tube back in during the day?

Do yyou supplement tho plants with fertz? I dont think those plants are a guaramtee but increased odds. Yes, I use Seachem Flourish and Excel. All plants seem to be doing good after I finally got rid of all the diatoms and brown algea. Lots of new growth on everything. Swords have tons of new leave...

Your article talked about hornwort, java moss and fern, & swords and how they do good in brackish tanks....that is what I have in my tank. So now I don't know what to believe!?
