Re: Water change equipment

Thanks everyone! You have confirmed what I thought! You have got to think about your own health when doing these things ( can always tell who the spinal nurse is, lol )

Water change equipment

Hi, I'm trying to find the best way to do brackish water changes? Ie do people mix water in some sort of water container then use a pump to fill tank or would this work being lower than the tank? I've seen those python things but they only work on your tap? (Not brackish!) I know you can also get th...

Water

:? Hi guys, Don't know if I'm being incredibly stupid here, but have just got my first GSP. He's only very young and I'm starting to think about what I'm going to need in order to start turning his water brackish. I've read up on all the things like doing it very slowly so I don't ruin the filter co...

Re: Life span

He is in a aquatics shop that has several branches, apparently he has had several homes in the different shops and they have had him from a baby! He's kinda a shop mascot, very adorable, he rubs his face on the glass when he sees you. Next time I go I will try to get a decent picture, can't put a do...

Re: Life span

He does a little but colours are different, he's kind of like a Stars and Stripes but without the stripes! I'd say he is about 24 inches, but lives in a big tank, about ten feet long.

Life span

Hi there,

I went to my LFS the other day and they have a puffer that looks very much like a dog face but the guys were saying he was 30 years old! I thought dog faces were supposed to live around 15 years? Maybe it was something different, anyone any ideas?
