Re: Help with breeding a variety of puffer food
I personally would not breed stuff in a sump, it all adds to the bio-load of the tank. Snails poop lots lol hmmmmm, i didn't consider that and i am currently wanting my No3 as near to 0 as possible so i might not bother. found a lifesaver though, after plenty of hunting around in shops i found Sain...

Re: Advice for initial GSP tank set up
1- 1.5 lb per gallon is best for live rock. A sump would be useful. Live rock doesn't last long out of water before you get a little die off hi there looks like you did some research which is good :) it will pay off in the long run for you. i have a marine tank and if possible you would not regret ...

Re: GSP Brackish to Marine
i would like to point out that full salt water has a specific gravity Sg of 1.025 and if you decided to keep corals i would suggest this salinity level however anywhere about 1.020 is fine as pufferpunk suggested. also above RTR reffers to a refugium of which you would cultivate a macroalgae in a se...

Re: patchy S&s Puffer after feeding
He probably just gorged out on the prawn, food sits in lumps as they have no ribs so often looks odd after a large meal. Keep an eye and keep us posted. I like a rest after a good meal. Now the bad news, you are overstocked unless they are tiny and clowns and puffers don't really mix as they both c...

Re: juvenile S&S friends
hi, hopefully stingray isn't an option and was just an example as these require much larger tanks than you can offer them, more importantly a large footprint e.g 6'Lx3'Dx2'H. since you have 180l alot of the oddballs are out of reach if you want them to live happy lives, how about a fuzzy dwarf lionf...

Re: Green Spotted Puffer Lethargic not eating
Ok, and I didn't use anything from my old tank except the tank decor. (Not exactly sure what a media is..) I purchased a new filter for my 20 gal because my old filter would not aerate it as well. *I bought a whole new filter kit, new cartridges, pump, etc. there's your answer to your problem, welc...
