no the small pond snails.i get them free from my lfs tanks.the really small ones he can eat no problem but the larger ones keep popping out of his mouth so i crush them for him.

my mbu puffer is 3 1/2 inches.i feed him 5 snails a day.is this ok or too much or too little? he also has either some prawn,cockle or mussle too. when should i up the amount of snails??? most of the snails he has i have to crush as there too big for him but will this still be trimming his teeth??? s...

i think your be better off getting some prawns/mussels from you local supermarket
