Re: ANYONE HAND FEED THEIR FAHAKA???
Yes, Bertie; i really think they know what their doing. I went to see 'Survivor' yesterday and took him some lobster, and boy was he happy to see me. You would think he's knows it's me taking him[haven't got him home yet]. My tank that i'm putting him in went funny no nitrates so i am back to square...

Re: ANYONE HAND FEED THEIR FAHAKA???
Bertie; Was it your fahaka that bit you?? I never give mine the chance to bite lol-when i see how fast they swoop in that tells me he is very capable of biting me, but he choose's not too. I would never let company have access to any of my puffers and the first thing i tell them is=stay away from my...

Re: ANYONE HAND FEED THEIR FAHAKA???
Bertie; I should have explained better- when i said hand feed-i meant with tweezers. I have a small pair and a long pair and that's what i use.About 5-years ago my dwarf bit me but that's no biggy. I just feel by using tweezers you can up close and personal so to speak-ie; to check them for all thin...

Re: Blood Worms!!! For Big Guy's.
RTR; +1 -I agree 100% thanks for your response. My guy kind of swoops in soo fast when food is around, but put in b/w's and he like yours and Bertie's; ignore them. I suppose it's not much of a challange for them. I think these big guys need a lot of mental stimulation to keep them happy, and i keep ...

I plan on putting a little mound in the back corner and just lightly in the rest of the tank-so he will have a place to bury himself if wanted-river

Re: Blood Worms!!! For Big Guy's.
RTR; I agree-i really don't believe in them for giant species just more or less wanted to see if anyones puff eats them. My guy is very young and big and he likes crunchy foods that are good for him and loves live foods. I believe in a lot of quarentined live foods as he loves the chase lol. I try t...

And someone -in the staff is still adding salt and we had to flush him again due to his breathing. We called all staff members to see who...
