i used it wilst fishless cycling with pure ammonia.i dont believe in cycling with fish when theres a better and less harmful way and cheapre.my cycle took 3 weeks instead of my usual 7 weeks.i dont think its worth the risk doing it with fish.ive heard some good and bad stories.

ghost shrimp

is it ok to leave the uneaten shrimp in the tank with the puffers till they get eaten or should i remove them? will they produce alot of waste??

aquarium heater

my 200 watt heater is working but the light either doesnt come on or it flickers?? does this mean its on its way out?
i know its working because obviously its hot but it also clicks when it goes on and off and i can hear it on when i get real close.

the question was asked by a friend of mine as she keeps f8s in a sg of 1.006 and has lost interest and wants to go back to tropical.id take them off her and set a tank up but i love my gsp too much

how would you turn a brackish tank at 1.006 to 100% freshwater?? how long would it take so it doesnt effect the filter??

just curious

how long would a young 4 inch mbu last in a 53 gallon tank till it need to be upgraded??

and how long would it last in a 100 gallon tank??

whats size tank do they need when they are fully grown?? for just 1 mbu and no other fish?????

how long does it take till they get fully grown??

well ive noticed the larger puffer has no white spots on him anymore??? not sure what happened but its a good sign. if water results are fine and fish are fine is a 25/30% a week water change ok?? must it be 50%?? not saying i wont do 50% as i have been anyway i just wondered say if 1 month i was ru...

well the change over went fine.there loving there new tank.lots more room.ill post pics soon of them in there new setup
