Heres an update, i show the tank more this time, you can see the snails on the rock eating the algae and the puffer eats the snails then the cycle repeats itself. At this stage, the puffer maintains itself

The is the second biggest front, less swollen but a weird bubble. This goes down hill fast.

This is the smallest, had the most swollen eye but now has recovered, possibly from the aid of kanaplex.

off to the hardware store i go then... i would feel much better using a large caulking gun and silicone then the "aquarium safe" bottles that are so small. imma give this a go but it is intimidating because its such a large tank, i just realized i need to remove the bottom frame as well which almost...

thanks for the added confidence. If you were in my situation what would you more likely use for your silicone, DAP aquarium silicone or Aqueon Silicone Aquarium Sealant?

Not a typo, its just how I describe the anchor worms. My water is fine I did that a while back. I have large canister filters,I'm sure the bacteria made it just fine. If it didn't, I would have had a crashed system by now.

Sorry just checked this... I kept the tank lights off and turned off the filters for a week and that thing disappeared.. I tried lowering the oxygen level and water quality enough to kill whatever that was... Fahaka is doing just fine and didn't suffer any, ive turned on the filters and done the app...
