Hi, new here
Just got myself a baby MBU, and i have decided to call him Majitu (Its Swahili - which i believe to be his native language) it means "Giants"

My lil newbie is only 6" long or so atm. Very cute and very active as you would expect. I kept a MBU some years ago ("boo") who i sadly lost 3 years ago which was absolutely devistating. He stopped eating for no known reason and despite every effort and much research, he slowly drifte...

All we can offer as advice is you need a massive tank, in the region of 1000 gallons. Much bigger would be better, even with that size you may have problems with water quality as the fish matures. Just joined your site and was so pleased to find like minded MBU keepers
I have just recently bought myself a new baby MBU puffer, very excited! Not got him yet, just organising his tank etc at the moment.
