Re: Red eye puffer IPs?

IUf you suspect iPs, a pic would be helpful. Sorry, will be getting a pic when I get home from work later. I am confident in my water quality because of how heavily the tank is planted, the frequency and quantity of my PWCs, and the readings of my regular water tests (API master test kit). I haven'...

Re: Red eye puffer IPs?

Thank you for the replies. I doubled checked -- there should be three pygmy cories in there. My apologies as well as I should have specified that this current situation is not a permanent home for my red eye (which I believe is a female Carinotetraodon irrubesco). I am moving in October and once set...

Re: DP diagnosis

Would the dps and gourami's be able to coexist in that tank together (minus the mollies)? I ask this because they did come from the same tank in the pet store (a terrible reason to ask, I know, but still a reason) and my tank is pretty heavily planted and decorated with little caves and nooks. I'm n...

Re: DP diagnosis

Yup, definitely going to check the parameters asap. Still very new to fish care so I didn't realize the tank might not be adequately cycled. If it helps, I was able to test ammonia today and it checked out at 0 but I'm getting the whole water testing kit tomorrow too. I should also have noted that I...

DP diagnosis

First off, my tank: 1. I do not know the exact water parameters of my tank at the moment. The tank, however, has been up and running for several months now. 2. 10 gallon with 2 dps, 2 mollies, 2 honey gourami's, some pond snails and lots of plants. 3. Food: fish flakes, algae wafers, freeze dried bl...
