Re: Building up my first FW tank
Sadly, yesterday she passed away. I have no idea what could of caused it as she seemed fine the morning I left her, she was eating well and the water was very healthy, the tank was clean, so it really is a mystery. I can't afford to start again so I will be giving my aquarium and the equipment to my...

Re: URGENT - Help needed
Hey man, sorry haven't been on here in a while, been busy with a lot of stuff, seeing family and friends etc. She's doing really well, and she's eaten 8 of the 12 ghost shrimp I put in there a couple of weeks ago lol, there's now one left (3 died) She has a much healthier appetite and always comes t...

IP Treatment
Sorry as this has probably been posted so many times. I live in the UK and was wondering what the best treatment for IPs is? I don't mind if I have to order it from the US as long as it isn't too expensive, can anyone give me some links? I don't need it now but it's always handy to have just in case...

Re: Mappa and Starry with Ich
I'm not sure whether you'd have to quarantine the affected fish, but RTR's salt method is great, I used it to succesfully cure my puffer of ich recently.

Re: Building up my first FW tank
Done a 50% WC today, cleaned the filter and turned the heat back down to 80F (As she's now finished the treatment) She was fighting with the ghost shrimp to get the bloodworm I put in there.

Re: Building up my first FW tank
Use as much of the free stuff as possible, make it visually complex with open swimming space along the front, use more plants than rock though because of displacement Will do, I'll probably put most of the plants around the back and sides, she loves sleeping/hiding in the plant that she has, so I'l...

Re: Building up my first FW tank
Ah ok, that's fine.
Haha, she isn't very aggressive yet, there's around 7 or 8 ghost shrimp in there (been in there for 2 or 3 days now, and she hasn't touched one. (But I'm guessing her aggression will increase as she ages?)

After soaking her blood worm in garlic again today she's eaten again, she's looking nice and tubby now lol. Really glad that she's finally settling in.
I also done a 30% WC and cleaned the filter in the tank water before I discarded it.

Re: Puffer Caught by Crayfish
Damn, some would say 'it's nature' but that's pretty stupid, putting a Puffer in a tank with that amount of fish and a large lobster.
