A pleco for about 5 months, then he finally killed it and left it. He doesnt mind the, more ignores them. He ha...

Nice to hear a couple more puffers put there like mine. I have white gravel in my tank. It is 20 gallon, with a divider on the right side maybe 3" - 4" on the tank is divided. The crayfish stay in there and while the puffer, Spot(i finally named him), lives in the other side with a mountai...

good news! My puffer is finally starting to warm up to me. It comes to the glass and swims for me. It is also eating from my hand. I put a freeze dried krill in the water, squeezed the air out and let it bob on the top of the water and it came right up and ate the krill. Did the same thing to one mo...

I am dong 25% water changes daily and adding 5-10ml of prime each change. Also, i purchased Cycle... it basically does the same thing as biospira i believe....

I dint have a fakaha puffer, but i know my puffer is only 3 inches long with the tail, and he likes to eat crayfish the size of him and crams with claws his fin size. I think your puffer will probably mature and learn his prey. Stick to smaller crayfish and crabs at first until he gets the hang of &...

Long story, but to keep it short... the owner of the tanks plays world of warcraft and works... that's schedule he follows and just last the fish in the 100 gal were dieing so he changed the filters complete, brand spanking new, and they are fine again. that's his tank maintains. the other tanks jus...

sorry didn't see your reply. I only take care of my 20 gallon tank. There is a 100 gallon tank in the living room, a 30 gallon at the top of the stairs, and a 10 gallon in the kitchen. I Ont mess with any of the tanks except the 20 gallon. I would die to change the 100 gallon and let the puffer live...

Now i am pretty concerned on raising and taking care of the other puffer. Also, one more thing... We have a 100 Gallon tank in the living room, been running for a real...

well wanted to go to the pet store, but my friend wasn't working so i didn't. Came back and found out i didn't need a new filter... i need water changes. Right now i am going to do 50% water change daily, adding 5ml of prime. Does that sound like my puffer will pull through under those conditions? A...

The puffer seems to be healthy appearance wise, i am going to buy a new filter and possibly find a nitrate and ammonia test kit today. He is still breathing heavy and even bobbing its head it breaths so heavy. I am really hoping the new filter will help its heath.. any other suggestions or knowledge?
