Being 30+ cm she's now getting bluemussel and crabclaws once in a while in order to keep her teeth down! Took her bout a day to figure how to open the mussel and i had to help her on the claws, few whacks with a hammer to open it up a bit and get her interested ;-) Its also good to keep her occupied...

Update on Wilmas fin She's been just fine since the outbreak of finrot was repelled Water parameters keeping steady and i still swap round 30-35% a week. Debris from feeding are picked up (and given to the crayfish) and the poop are scooped and flushed :-D She has even regenerated 2-3mm of the fin, ...

Now, back from the petshop, the affected fin all clear again, no red left, little pale along the edege of fin swimming and behaving normal again. She also ate to thumbsized shrimps today as ferociously as allways i may add

I have to admit i stopped the regular checking of waterparameters around 2 months ago as i ran out and everything had been stable for the past year! Maybe that was my bad. Ill buy new testkit today i i can make it or tomorrow at the latest! Upkeep? I swap the 30+ % of water every week and have done ...

I was totally aware of the pleco being kind of "food supply" and have laughed at it, BUT the slime sucking deal was NOT a part of my picture!! I red tons online AND what little paper books available, before i got wilma and i have to admit that IF it was there, it was info i missed out on.....
