Hi Everyone I haven't been by here for quite a while as everything was chugging along nicely, unfortunately my Congo puffer suddenly died a couple of months ago. I had decided that there would be no more puffers, and have happily watched my Dwarf puffers enjoy their senior years :) I have now reserv...

Re: How long can you starve a congo puffer?

The worms were practically crawling into his mouth and still he didn't want to know lol, this went on for nearly 2 wks so then I managed to fin...

Re: Breeding Ramshorn...
I haven't had my pink ramshorns that long but their tank is in my f8's cabinet so don't get much light. I do have a heater on there but only cos it came with the tank and I have just had a baby snail explosion lol. The eggs were everywhere, on the glass, on the filter and especially on the sealant a...

Where to buy seachems prime in the UK
I normally order prime from eBay but have noticed that lately there is none being sold on there, so checked Amazon but they don't have any either. Where do you buy yours from? And if I can't get anymore what is a good replacement for it, that will last a good while cos of the amount of tanks I have ...

Re: Just had to share (next generation of puffer keeper)
My kids are daughter 12, son 3 and son who turned 3 on Wednesday(yes I have 2 sons and there's 10 1/2 mths between them lol) if I let my sons feed my fish it would end up like world war 3 and my daughters resigned to the fact that she's got fish in her bedroom for the foreseeable future

Re: Help me.... My puffer is not moving
Going by the measurements you've given, it's about a 5 gallon tank they are in. That's really not enough space for them and your going to have a really hard time keeping your water parameters stable. Can you get a bigger tank or maybe return them to the shop if you've only just bought them, till you...

Re: Help me.... My puffer is not moving
You want to get those levels down ASAP but as you only change 20% twice a week, I don't know whether you should do 1 large water change or several smaller ones spaced out. I personally would do several smaller ones and gradually increase the amount changed each time to be on the safe side.

Re: Help me.... My puffer is not moving
You should not be showing any ammonia or nitrite and your nitrate reading is really high, it should be 20 or less for nitrate. Looking at your tank size it is too small for 2 GSP, puffers are really messy and I think GSP require 30 gallons each minimum. You need to be doing more water changes to get...
