If the fish isnt healthy in the uncycled tank then you shouldnt have him in there... Your just slowly kiling him yeah?

If they are too young to see the wrinkles and you are unsure then id leave them till you can see the difference between them. Up to you.. but there will be someone on here that will twll you that you or i have done wrong...

2 females would be fine.. theres more aggression in the males.

The way i sexed mine was to look for wrinkles behind the eyes.. those are the males.

When i asked the shop owner... The stores buy whatever is caught.. available for them to buy. Carmel was the last one there.. being the smallest and thinner she was obviously last to get sold. Id rather of bought her than someone who hasnt got a clue about them buy them and then they die in a week. We had moobs for about 2 years ...

Can you test the water for us. The plecs produce a lot.of waste.
Fig 8s can be very nippy and dont tend to like others too much in my experience with them.

Personally id do partial water changes daily to.try and get that nitrate down thats quite high. Overstocking a problem? Whats the dimensions of the tank..

I wouldnt.have other fish in.with the gsps.
