Well whatever the reason im glad the little guys survive long enough to house clean. The algae shrimp is bold and a little vacuum watched him devour a few bloodworms my puffer missed in a few minutes...lol

Proof puffers can have friends...for a while...
So just wanted to share a pic of my RCS happily cleaning the tank for 2+ weeks now and today i added a algae shrimp which rode in on a tiny moss ball i got: http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f237/Thetagger/th_shrimp1.jpg See they can have crunchy friends... (ok tbh there were 2 RCS he ate the male.....

How long does it take to affect whats eating it? I just put a algae tab in for my RCS tonight and one ate some, they are in my red eye tank. Really hope hes gonna be ok if he eats one of them...

Thanks all for the Welcome and I hope everyone had a great new Year :) So we had a scare with some bad water but all is good now and hes is chubby and happy again: http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f237/Thetagger/Indra10.jpg I am going to rescape the tank soon with more plants, a lot less red gravel...

Ok so i just noticed he has a single white speck on his tail. near the top. he not acting weird, just sleeping atm :) i doubt it's ick could it be something food like got stuck there? colors look good. water readings are all good. EDIT it was just a fleck of food or something it fell off. Anywho sna...

Well after a ver drastic 75% water change and some Safe Zyme this morning at 7:20am Indra ate again He seems much happier, water looks tons better and hes swimming around hunting like normal. Thanks all for the advice!

Currently he has frozen bloodworms, a few tiny pieces of freeze dried shrimp and a couple snails, but usually its just the bloodworms.

i was using jungle test strips, all we had, i am gonna grab a master test kit tomorrow. Ill try the garlic thing it sounds like he will love it.

lol yeah i forgot to ask him :/ Yes they are ammonia removal tabs but they also dechloranate we use them after water changes.
