I removed them because they were clearly unhappy, gasping, one lying down and not getting up, so I got them into new clean water and they calmed down. Thanks but the ppm's are fine, hence why I used to words good and perfect :) Tried adding an aerator but that didn't help.

Thanks guys, last night she was gasping at the surface, sticking her top lip out of the water, her chin had gone black and the other gsp's breathing had increased too. I got them out into new water while I done a full pwc even though my pmms were good, now they're perfect. It's happened again tonigh...

Well one of my gsps, has lived happily for the past 6 months, in good housing; pmms are good, hiding spots, enough space and food. Over the past few days her belly has been more sunken than usual (it is normally a little round), I dewormed her about a week ago. So now I have put the dewormer in agai...

Because I currently have the two tanks, the 50 & 35, the 75 I am getting sooner or later, so a 75 is too small for only 2 gsps..?

Huh? They're going in a 50 and if I feel they need a bigger one I'll get a 75 after it :)

They're upgrading to a 50 gallon soon :) Thanks for all the lovely replies! Puff had worms when I got her hence why she's so skinny but she's been treated since then she REALLY likes the camera! :D I've not tried so much with Polo, his stomach is almost always fat! Even straight before feeding time ...

I have owned my gsp Puff for six months now and my other Polo for two months in 34 gallons and I love them to bits already! I've joined the forum ready to learn even more about my two, they are currently in low end marine being fed frozen and live foods. I have come to learn how smart my puffers are...
