I recently lost Chompers one of my two GSPs. Maria, his tankmate, looks so lonely in her tank. I know that SHE doesn't care so much about getting more friends, but I was thinking about getting two more. Does anyone have experience introducing new GSPs? I've had Maria about 6 years.
Thanks,
Sarah

Re: URGENT NEED HELP: 2 dead tankmates within the month!
I've found that my puffers became a lot happier when I reduced the fish living with them. Not only did I find less dead fish, but the puffers started to explorer the tank instead of cower in the corner. They need room to swim and say Hi to you when you sit by the tank. I wouldn't add any more fish!

Re: What's your puffer's name?
My fat GSP is named Chompers (although he is just a big pushover) and my littler GSP is named Maria. I have a huge Chinese Algae eater named Goliath. And all my Danos are named George.

Re: New to the forums so here's my fish!
Yeah I watch them all the time. Since there are a lot of caves they seem to mind their own business. But I think they ate some glow fish... It's one of those the minute I see that the other fish are in danger the minute I get a catfish or pleco.

My GSP's have been in a 55 gal for almost 2 months, but have not grown at all... How long did it take your puffs to out grow yours?

I know I am new, but you guys have already helped me bunches (even on posts I don't reply to) I can't wait to use the library, etc. Not to mention.... someone has to help me when I get a marine tank! I think I can do 5 right now, I will check again after pay day.
