Well I feed my fahaka nls stuffed shrimp, it swallows the chunk of shrimp and nls whole. This morning I noticed that it "releases" the whole piece of nls. I don't think its getting any benefit from the nls. It will not eat the nls by itself and if it feels the nls in the shrimp it will eat...

Looks like diatoms to me. They will go away over time, my tank was covered for probably a month and I mean everything. Subsiding now though...

IPs = internal parasites

When I got my fahaka it was about 1.5" long, I fed blood worms and it loved them...

Here is a picture of my setup.

Its roughly 4.5-5", unfortunately its in a 30L right now. I will be getting a larger tank this weekend. While I know the 30L is way too small, I have 2 hob and a 2217 on it plus weekly 75% water changes. I have a buddy selling me a 110g for $50, so he'll be in that for the meantime.
