Re: Black dot on fahaka eye

i've been trying to take a picture, but I havent got a decent one yet.
No bump on the eye, just a black dot. When I look at the eye from the side it's like a small hole in the "membrane" of the eye.

Black dot on fahaka eye

Hi. I just bought a small (2 inch) lineatus puffer. And I noticed that it has a small black dot on one of it's eye. Its almost like a wound or something. Will the dot go away? Anyone else had the same problem? The puffer seems okay, but its been like this for over a month. I have had a cure with pra...

You probably right. But I don't have much option's. As long as I want a puffer. I feel It's a bit to small for two palembangs or two arrows....or is it?

My tank is 50 gallons. It think It has to be either the Congo or a palembang. Not really sure yet. Afraid It will be a bit boring with only one Congo in it. Maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks for good answers, and the article. Does anybody know why the Congo needs too be in solitary? It seems so like the others otherwise. Wich one of the three would you recomend? And LFS can get the congo or the arrowhead for me. And another one has a palembang in store. I can't make up my mind :l...

A few Questions??

Hi! I've got a few questions that I'm wondering about? 1. How fast does a puffer grow? ( palembangensis, suvatti, miurus) 2. I've heard that if you have a large tank, you cud have a couple of arrowheads together. Or even a palembangensis and a arrowhead too. Can't you have miurus together with other...

My tank is about 50 gallons I think. (180 L) I just think Its fascinating and interesting to see real aggressive fish behavior. I know I shouldn't feed them feeders, but occasionally I give them some live snack that has been i quarantine for a while. I know I'm not the only one who does that  ...

The most aggresive freshwather puffer?

Hi! My first new topic :). I'm finally decided to buy a puffer. And I want an active and aggressive one. Which one of the freshwatherpuffers are the most aggressive? (Besides the fahaka, Cu's I don't have enough room for It, an its almost impossible to get here in Noway!) Ive been thinking of a pale...
