Snail shells in aquarium?

I feed my Red Eye Red Tailed Female puffer pond snails some times. Probably around 1 time a week, perhaps 3 snails each feeding. Obviously she does not consume the shells. Is it alright to leave these shells, and shell remnants in the tank? I think of it as calcium, and they eventually dissolve into...

I had the filter off for the feeding, i think the flow is not bad.
I was planning on getting a surface skimmer too, might do that!

Yes he does bite quite often, but not always. When he does bite he never really bites hard, but once i had just fed him a snail, so he had his teeth in mega crush mode, and i stuck my hand in and he did break my skin. Touching my pufffer

My puffer is fond of me and i hand feed him/her often, is it alright if i touch, him/her? Or might that damage his/her outermost layer?
He/she likes to come up to the top and swim around my fingers and i touch him/her quite often.

This is a Green Spotted Puffer. Thanks for any replies!

Okay thanks alot. bumblebee gobies might be okay with the red eye red tails? Or do they need brackish water?
