Puffed puffer
My Valentini puffer seems to be bloated and it's not from eating too much. Is there anything I can do to help her? No bullying fish and water perameters are normal. Please help
I've read that no-ich marine works great. It takes a week or so of treatment though. It is not harmful to inverts and corals because it is not a copper based treatment (it is all natural). My Blue Hippo Tang has come down with ich and I've been treating the tank for 3 days and I already see an impro...

a suggestion to your clean-up crew question
If you plan on getting snails or hermit crabs with a puffer it helps if you also buy a bunch of empty shells. I have read that this helps the longevity of the live hermits and snails, and maybe the puffer may give up on trying to eat them because there are so many decoy shells.

Clean-up crew for brackish water
What do you guys use to clean your tanks in a light brackish water set-up? The sg is 1.005. I have a figure 8 puffer and a couple of bumble bee gobies. I put 3 ghost shrimp in today and the fig 8 ate one already. Does anyone have any ideas?? What I mean by clean-up crew is how people keep plec...

I'm trying to change a 20 gallon freshwater tank to brackish for a figure 8. The LFS has the figure 8 in freshwater so I know I need to acclimate them slowly to brackish .002 a week. Would that be done when doing a water change add 10 gallons with one tablespoon of marine salt for each gallon (of th...
