I vote for bite marks as well they will go away over time... a sunken stomach shortly after having a meal would point more towards internal parasites

i had two in a 35G and there would be fights during feeding time... they are best of friends when food is not involved. just moved them to a 55G over the weekend never seen them happier! no more fights durning feeding time too and they each have their own little territory set out. about half a tank ...

the lfs has one in one of their display tanks... lost one of its eyes... :( from cloudy eye i think... and it was following me around the tank as i walked by... felt so bad for it...

thanks for the replies everyone! I will be running the two filters together but I shouldnt put in the two fish till a while later right? just to be safe... i will eventually turn it to a full marine setup once my GSP funds grow a bit more :D I got a good deal on the tank but i havent read about UGF ...

I have a pair of GSP's in a 35G right now... i will get getting them a 55G and plan to have crushed coral for the substrate. Currently they have 2 filters in the tank and gravel as the substrate so the new tank will be starting from scratch... the decor will transfer over as well I will take the int...

or could it really have been a burn from the thermostat? as for scratches it gets a lot of them from time to time... just relentless when it comes to feeding time! the tank has lots of plastic plants... i think i will take out the plastic plants and use silk ones later on...

Update!

Today when doing my weekly water change the blister is gone! no trace of it whatsoever! guess it was a zit then! :lol: woot puffer is growing up! :lol: :oops:

still doing great it doesnt seem to be bugging it at all... kinda looks like a zit now... just a white dot... it hasnt gotten bigger or anything... i havent treated it with anything... but I have gone from 30% water changes to 50% water changes... at the begining there was some red in the middle of ...

Yeah I have been reading some other forums... pricenetwork.ca has people selling lots of tanks and stuff... but I also want to make sure that there is enough space in the house for another large tank. currently living with parents so i dont have a fish tank devoted space but they are letting me cram...

I am currently cycling a 15G for dwarf puffers... but also after seeing that fahaka video i want one too now! :D but i need to find a 135G tank and stand first

i forgot to mention that i personally dont really like the internal canister as it takes up room inside the tank itself... i will be swapping that out for a canister filter soon while still keeping the biowheel going. also dont be too worried about the current... healthy puffers are strong swimmers ...
