Re: Stocking ideas for my 40 gallon breeder
If you have sand, then I've always like the goby with shrimp pair.
Also I think the midas blenny have an amazing ribbon-like swimming pattern when I saw one in a fellow hobbyists' tank. Its the only fish I'm considering for my coral-only tank.

Re: gbta advice
Perhaps moving all those rocks loosened a lot of micro detritus and dirtied the water a little, and maybe you just need to do a small water change to see if it helps. Just a hunch though.

Oh geez... I really wanted one of these puffers in the states for a really long time before I left the puffer world. Ebay was the last place I thought would have a Ceylon

Figure 8 found in florida?
There is a hobbyist in florida that says he finds F8 frequently when looking for fishing bait at a beach in florida. Has anyone elae heard of F8 in U.S. waters? I thought these fish are found in asia.

Re: Maybe some good news finally!!
I love a good puffer hunt. A "mekong" puffer usually turns out to be a turgidus puffer in my area.

Re: No Backing out now 40b+GSP
I got my 75gpd RODI unit from them last thanksgiving holiday for a really good deal - $120 I think. For the Reef Octopus HOB skimmer best deal I found was on aquacave. I purchased the BH2000 for $190 including shipping. My fellow local hobbyists and I never had problems with our Hydor pumps. I prefe...

Re: powerhead for my 180g fahaka tank.
How much are you willing to spend? I have used Koralia and Jebao powerheads with much success since they are some of the more affordable options. I can't imagine a Fahaka getting stuck in a powerhead with a cage. On the other hand, my Aquaclear powerhead only have one inlet. Anything similar to the ...

Rockscape as you wait. Its the hardest part for me since I didn't have that many rocks to work with. Easier when there are too many rocks.

Re: Aqueon Water Changer
When I had my freshwater tanks, I used the aqueon water changer. It was a nice unit. The faucet connector is a bit fragile IMO. Don't try to twist it on too tight or else it will crack. Mine cracked and I had to use glue to put it back together. I never wasted water since I disconnected the end from...
