If you have sand, then I've always like the goby with shrimp pair.
Also I think the midas blenny have an amazing ribbon-like swimming pattern when I saw one in a fellow hobbyists' tank. Its the only fish I'm considering for my coral-only tank.
Perhaps moving all those rocks loosened a lot of micro detritus and dirtied the water a little, and maybe you just need to do a small water change to see if it helps. Just a hunch though.
