Puffer Induced Exhaustion
I have a thirty gallon tank that I've kept for three months. Two green spotted puffers inhabit it, and no other tankmates have survived. The tank sucks, to put it plainly. Decorating is impossible, as they bite, the sand clouds at the slightest wave, algae grows rampant, with no snails to control it...

Hang-In-Tank Refugium
How, I've been looking at refugiums online, and I don't see why a tiny plastic box with holes in it should cost fifty to one hundred dollars. I have a small container that could easily hang in my ten gallon (soon to be nano reef) tank. The only differences I see between it and other refugiums are th...

Dead fish buried in tank
I recently brought a diamond goby home to my tank with my puffers. He was fine for the first few days, but I believe was buried when the sand he was burrowing in collapsed on him. I can't be certain, but after moving all the rock in my tank, I have not seen hide nor hair of him in two days. I need h...

I HATE SAND RIGHT NOW
So, I was just chilling and decided to add sand. I'm a fool. I cleared tank, Removed my two gsps, and removed my awful, chipping gravel. Enter 'live' sand. (I only got a packet of bacteria with it so woohoo) Poured sand in without rinsing and sifting. :'( A day later- tank is still at two inch visib...

Two GSP + Violet Goby = ???
Now, I have a relatively small tank for my puffers, however they are just and inch long each. Thirty gallon tank. SG at 1.08 To the meat of my question. Which of these would be more unhealthy for the fish. Staying in a fresh water tank, or being placed with two puffers? Don't criticise me please, I ...

Re: What's your puffer's name?
My larger GSP is Brutus, smaller is Caesar.
The size difference and attitude to one another has prompted me to name them so.

Feeding Question
Would it be safe or healthy to feed a puffer ants, vegetables or fruit?
Also, I tried to feed my two GSPS some ghost shrimp, but they suck at hunting

Straight from FW to FM
If I took a GSP from regular fresh water then put in full marine, what would happen.
