its called a butis butis (crazy fish)! I saw it at a store today and wanted some info on them!

Hello help with 36 gallon set up
Hello- I have a 36 gallon tank I would like to turn into a brackish tank for a figure 8 puffer or more than one? I was at a pet store today and also say a butis butis (crazy fish) and would like to know if they would be good tank mates and what else would work? all suggestions thanks in advance =)
