Re: GSP Newbie FOWLR set-up (Really long question)
Thanks for all the fast responses! I appreciate all the help. If you want a puffer tank for an active puffer, you do not want a cubical tank unless it is massively over-sized. They are visually striking, certainly, but do not offer as much swimming room for active fish as more conventional rectangul...

GSP Newbie FOWLR set-up (Really long question)
In a couple of months I will likely have the space for a proper Green Spotted Puffer FOWLR set-up. I fell in love with the little bastards, and I actually want to do it right. They are the cutest puffers I have seen. I've done a pretty good amount of research on puffers in general, and I currently h...

Re: diatom infestation
Try nerite snails. They eat diatoms happily, and are actually brackish to marine snails. They do fine in freshwater too, which is how I know about this. Re: Dwarf puffer owners i need your help...
I now have 2. Part of why I got the second is the first wanted nothing to do with me. She would just motor around the tank and be cute, but not very interactive. The second, however is extremely curious and comes right up to the glass and loves to watch me. I feed them SF Bay Freshwater Multi-Pack c...

Changing the gravel in a dwarf puffer aquarium
(This is copied from an email I sent to WetWebMedia tonight, but I figured I'd ask here anyways) I looked through the information about changing the gravel in an aquarium on this site and others, but I don't feel as if I have enough information to proceed. I have a cycled (but recently cycled fishle...
