One question Ive noticed a few members discuss how often they feed them. Are they prone to over eating if I put snails and ghost shrimp or similar in enough supply for a week or 2?

I got him for $29 at a LFS in Arizona if anyone's interested. After doing some research it seems they go for at least that or more online not including shipping so it worked out there.

I would not call myself an expert. The real experts are people like the ichthyologist Maurice Kottelat, who did a lot of research on the "target group" and Monotrete spp. puffers. I'm only using his results and apply them to the hobby. M. cochinchinensis will very probably be the right ID...

This picture looks the most like him out of any Ive seen and it was the Fangs Puffer

Happy to see most of the target puffers arent very common at your LFS. 2 questions hes obviously young do I need to make the switch to brackish now and should I get him a cave?

Upon further research he looks closer to a brown puffer but Ill let the experts decide. I got crabs to start him off with but I think Im going to switch to snails and frozen cause their claws are a bitch to take off.
