Re: stocking my forty gallon tank
you may be able to fit in another 3-5 endlers and another 2-3 ottos, but no more. you have a pretty diverse tank and that alone is way better than having a tight tank =)

Re: what is the best filter to use for my snail tank?
I second the airstone filter. Another option is to cut out a small peice of foam to cover the inlet (it allows water and stuff to go through, but not snails) third option is to grab the foamy like strip of stuff that is sometimes wrapped around plant roots, its thin easy to work with and can protect...

Re: puffer tank
cause its all set up and planted and i like the way it looks. plus, the front is higher up than the rear is, my fault for not making it even. but the only changes im making are the fish, if and when that comes to happen

Re: puffer tank
I dont mind. i sold off the last of my frogs, so i only have two active projects, this tank and my main. aquarium maintenance is a lot easier imo than for snakes, scorpions, geckos and frogs

Re: water proofing a tank?
if you do see it leaking, get some aquarium grade or better silicon, and apply a good amount and let dry for at least 48 hours

Re: Setting up a snail breeding tank.
I snagged about 30-40 + ramshorn snails from a local petsmart, and they are in my main tank. the water is at around 80, and i just make sure to drop in a lot of extra food. I noticed earlier today that i have at least 20-30 little egg sack/gel things. its really easy and you should have a huge colon...

Update!!
Ive caught a lot of trought with those rods =P I finally elbowed around all of the problems that arose, such as the pump not pumping water even though fully primed. reduced the amount of modules to 2 instead of 3 to help the flow rate and built an inflow outflow set up to free the old ones for my ne...
