For my SAPs I used Waterlife STERAZIN which treats 'Gill, body flukes and Internal Worms'.
Worked well for me, bought from LFS.
Soaked food in the meds, then poured the rest of the dose in.

When I had SAPs I used Waterlife STERAZIN, and soaked there food (snails) in that.
Ip's should be treated internally I remember someone once saying. It's a 10 day course, and worked a treat.
The Ich treatment, you can just use table salt. No definition of what Aquarium salt is.

In the future when it's feasible, and you want to add another tank with water transfers, do so, but don't stress out about it now. I guess you don't really want any animal to be the underdog when you've put it in an artificial environment so that it can't get away i.e an aquarium.

You say be sure they are small?
Is this so the puffer doesn't eat the head and leaves the rest?
Can you not pre-crush the snails if they are larger to make sure the puff gets the lot?
