Re: Who are you calling fat?

That is a chubby thing. Same eating habits for my 3. Definitely one that could eat for all three if given the opportunity.

Re: New

Well I got rid of the tetras. I still have 2 corydoras, 1.5" crayfish, 2" red-claw shrimp, and a few ghost shrimp. I'm surprised the shrimp are still around with the puffers being there. I'm sure all inverts will be gone in a month. The puffers seem to be pretty happy with the added plants...

Re: South American Puffer eating corydora eggs

Ya my one puffer ate almost all the eggs himself. The other 2 didn't really eat any. The one that ate all of them is the same one that always finds the snails, black worms, and any other food first. A fat little fellow.
I was glad he ate the eggs because I didn't want a ton of Corydoras in the tank.

Re: Import legality

Thanks. I contacted the fish and wildlife agency but they sent me a link that didn't work. I'll try your stuff out.

Import legality

Does anyone know whether it is legal to import puffers. I live in Lansing Michigan and found a puffer for sale in Toronto Canada. I have tried looking online with no such luck. So does anybody know if it is legal to bring puffers across the border from Canada to the US?

Colomesus Asellus eat too much?

I have 3 SAP's, one of which hunts for food and eats a lot more than the others. Today I feed them some bloodworms and snails. Shortly after feeding I found some eggs and after some watching noticed my corydora laying them like crazy. Of course the chubby eater has been eating all the eggs. Instead ...

Re: Change substrate in a cycled and running tank?

It worked. I used the Eco-Complete and the tank got super cloudy while taking the old gravel out. The new gravel worked great. The tank is practically as clear as it was before and three 20lb bags made a solid 3" substrate in the tank! Love it so far. Much easier to stick plants in with deeper ...

Re: Change substrate in a cycled and running tank?

What's wrong with fake colored stuff??? :P If it has been established for a while, there should be no issues with changing out all the substrate. Did you mean to write "glass box" or did you really type "tank"? Now I think the joke's on me. To be honest I meant tank but wrote gl...

Change substrate in a cycled and running tank?

I have a cycled 36 gal glass box with 3 SAP's in it and want to change gravel from fake colored stuff Eco complete planted aquarium. Can I do this and keep the fish in or is it too messy? If that would not be possible would there be any other solutions to changing the substrate? As always thanks for...

Wow. Thanks for the replies. Since this was my first post I didn't know to make the site notify me of replies. So sorry for clogging the forums with more questions. Also thanks for the video. On tank news, I gave the 6 danios back to my LFS. Still have 3 columbian tetra and 3 serapes which I might g...
