I suspect my puffer has IP
So a few days ago I noticed my puffer not acting normal. He was staying in his little home he only sleeps in, and he wasn't moving. He has not eaten in a few days so usually he would at least be out waiting for food. But he wasn't moving at all, just facing the back of the tank. So I bought prazipro...

Puffer injured?
I have a hairy Puffer in a 29 gallon aquarium. Just yesterday I noticed something on him. On his left side kinda on his belly there are 2 white marks. One is right behind the other and the one is bigger than the other. The only thing I can really think is maybe he got scratched? He's not sick but mo...

Re: Another fish with my puffer?
I realize I am bumping an old thread I am just wondering if it will 100% eat a pleco? I'm thinking what if I feed my puffer first and then while he is resting put the pleco in. If my puffer gets used to seeing him he probably wouldn't eat it right? Also I have a 29 gallon tank.

Another fish with my puffer?
Well, I understand for the most part this wouldn't work. I understand basically anything I put in my tank my hairy puffer would eat it. I just wanted to know if there was any other fish at all that I would be able to put in with him. I'm thinking a pleco would be nice to get just scared my little bu...

Re: Why is my puffer so depressed?
That's pretty common for a lurker puffer. He's not depressed. He is using camouflage. You probably just think he seems different because as he gets older and reaches maturity he gets more territorial/Moody. He actually sounds "happy" to me. Thats pretty good news I suppose. Sometimes thou...

Why is my puffer so depressed?
I have a hairy puffer and he/she is about 4-5 inches long. I have my puffer in a 29 gallon tank, I do regular water changes. I use my reefkeeper on it that I used for saltwater to keep the temp. at a constant 77.5 F. My puffer is always dark in color when depressed. Dosent like to move much and just...

Re: Do we have any brony's here?
Unless you like watching cute and cuddly cartoon furries meeting a gruesome end don't watch happy tree friends lol I watched like 2 mins of happy tree friends and its terrible. The only entertaining part of it IS watching them get their faces torn off. I dont think MLP is what you think, it is actu...

So this is what you suggest I do? Just add it directly to the aquarium.

I think my puffer is sick
So for the past day or 2 he has been hiding behind a fake plant I have. He usually lays in 1 spot for a day or 2 after I feed him so I didnt really think much of it. Today I look at him and his skin looks darker than usual. He is usually brown but to my parts of him look darker than usual. So I deci...
