Re: Hair Algae Problem
Not to offend Arny, but I understand where RTR is coming from. Many if not most inverts are introduced into FW tanks first. From there they are fed, multiply and breed. In SW conditions it is the opposite and many people don't realize this. New set ups like the one greenspottedlover most likely wil...

Re: Aquaripure
I've always stuck to water changes for removing nitrate. Exfective, simple, and cheap.

Re: Aquaripure
As everyone will agree, when it comes to aquarium filters AquaClear is the best. Well, no, not everyone will agree at all. There are some of us with many tanks and no AquaClear in the house. For some of us, there are multiple filter formats in routine use, The "best" for any given tank va...

Re: Hair Algae Problem
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Nitrate ~10-20(not sure, the test tube leaked a little)
Ph ~78-80
not sure on the lights watts, but it's just the bulb that came with the standard fluorescent hood. 12hrs a day MOST days.
20g. 25% twice a week.

Re: API Water Test Kit Question
Not sure, but I believe if you have a API saltwater test result sheet you could. I could be very wrong though. I do know some test result colors will be different with salt, you probably all ready knew that though.

Honestly, I think Megadeth is a much better Thrash band than Slayer, or Metallica. Cliff Burton era Metallica is pretty awesome though. I didn't like Mustaine very much, only very few songs, so I never had more than two Megadeth albums (audio cassettes that is or was). And after St. Anger I did not...
