Hi

Post by kv2wr1 »

Hi All,

My name is Eric. I've been lurking here for a while and decided to join. I don't have any pufers yet (still deciding on which one), but will have my tank up and running soon. Right now I have a 75 gallon quarantine up and running with 2 ocellaris clowns that are doing very well. The main tank is a 180 gallon with a 40g sump. The display will have a decent amount of flow through it so I'm looking at a puffer that could get a long with the clowns and enjoy a 180g. I'm thinking about getting a dog face puffer since I have the clowns. These are Australian black & white clowns so they have a little attitude. They killed a royal gramma when they were in a 40b and chased the poor fella straight into a vortech.

Here is a pic of the 180 so far.

I finished touching up the paint on the stand, the plumbing and added two reactors (carbon and GFO) that aren't pictured. I now just need to get some sand, rock, lights and start cycling. I plan on putting some edible macros in the display once it is done cycling. For the rockwork, I want to do some arches with plenty of hiding spots. Then I'll add some macros and some pods since a clean up crew won't last long with a puffer. :D
