Re: 37g w/ dwarf lion. Tankmates?
its settled, I put in my order for another dfl I'm hoping the lfs gets a few in at a time so I have a better chance of grabbing a female. Might take up to 2 weeks to get one in though

Dont know if there ever was any success breeding dwarf lions in captivity but another lion is cool to have in a tank. Also mean you have to double up on the feedings..lol

I'm not trying to breed, I'm just trying to maximize my chances of success and reduce chances of unwanted aggression. i'm fine with feeding double.

Well never seen any aggression in dwarf lions before. They more less kinda push each other out of the way but nothing serious like most fish fights. My lions would hang out in the same corner of the tank together with no aggression.

Well what did you get, LongGrain? Have not heard anything else about this new lionfish. Would love to know what you got or if you got another one. Btw, you got me think about setting up another FOWLR tank again with a lionfish or 2. I loved the ones I used to own and miss them. Even got me looking at some lionfish sites. Well the good ones that is not killing and eating them.

Re: 37g w/ dwarf lion. Tankmates?
I haven't been able to get another one yet. The LFS has been having trouble sourcing them (out of season or something maybe?) Seems like all of his suppliers are fresh out of dfl's
The plan is still just to get another one as soon as I can get one locally.

petworld warehouse outlet out in Madison had one a few weeks ago, you can ask the one in Menomonee Falls if they have one or if they can special order one for you. If you don't mind the drive down and back.
