I did nothing today...

I have two tanks that need emptied out though, since their inhabitants are gone.

I finally gave Mushroom his G6 today. Despite my careful measurements (so I thought...) it's still a bit big for the cupboard! Oh well, bent hoses it is then, still works fine. Not too sure what it reads salinity in, it's not SG, gonna have to dig the manual out and get figuring. I've only used it on FW before. Bloody thing beeped at me as soon as it was set up to tell me the salinity was out of range...so I turned that function off for now!! lol. I'll decide what the acceptable salinity for my fishy is thank you mister smartarse filter...

Watched Petey eat his first snail (that I know of, very loud! ) I think it was a Dwarf Cerith , not a 100% sure!

Well I finally got my cray breeder tank in proper order I was using a clear walmart tote but my mother in law gave me her old 29g tank and sand. So Ive spent hours draining it switching over the filters , kind of a good set up 29g on top and underneath a 10g ( nursery for the mammas and babies) . Took for ever to track down the stupid feeder fish my wife put in there started with 2 and I think ive found like 20 in there ! So there in a bucket with a powerhead til I can fed them all to the Lionfish. I didnt relize it but ive got 5 berried crays about 7 large crays ,like 10 small crays and 20 babies( they are hard to find in the dirty water, lol ) .

On the amazing news about a month ago or so my coral beauty Angel disappeared. I thought she died an Petey munch the carcus .I completely tore the tank apart at a water change to see if she was in the rocks or made her way to the sump but nothing . I took a quick look in bothe overflows but kinda dark and I didt see anything , she was gone . I went to feed the Damsels and Diamond Goby today when I opened the Canopy It looked like something fell of the light or something when I looked to see what it was it was the Coral Beauty , I was amazed ,I thought she was long gone . Only thing I can think of shes been hanging in the corner overflow, I dont know what prompted her to come out now. She must been feeding on the left over food that floats in the overflow. Very cool!

Fed Camille, flattened Bullet Goby's 4 inch tall mountain of aragonite, checked salt level in water, and mean-mugged algae growing on side of aquarium glass.

Did 50-60% water change for all my tanks. Drawing out my plans for a DIY algae turf scrubber. I will start building it tomorrow.
Kind regards,

Duct taped the powerhead's power cord to the side of the aquarium in a futile attempt to get it to stay put - the tape already let go. :p
