My pet chinchillas

Post by El Scorpio »

I have two of these little furballs, Scrappy and Phoenix. Scrappy is a standard grey, Phoenix is a silver mosaic - it doesn't show up on camera, but Phoenix is solid white except for the base of his tail and his face, which are silver.

I had a gray one, but looking back I was way to young to own one. I had no idea what I was doing, that thing was evil and hated me. I ended up giving it up so I could get a dog instead(which worked out much better for me lol)

They are adorable. I'd love to have one one day. What are their personalities like?
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Phoenix is a little snuggle bug. Scrappy likes to rough house with Phoenix and chase my sister's kitten and teacup Yorkie when she brings them over. He will also pounce on your hand if it's in the cage or on your foot if he's loose running around. His aggressive - yet playful (sometimes) - behavior is why I named him 'Scrappy.'
