I am loking at buying some more live rock for my aquarium and considered getting dried live rock because I will be able to get more due to it being cheaper, I have heard tell of it being possible to 'seed' dried live rock with my current live rock and I wondered how long it would take for the rock to become 'live' again
thank you

about 6 months

if you have sufficient beneficial bacteria, just drop them in (pre washed of course) and you should be good to go. It will grow out over time.

"Curing" is not what you are doing here. You are seeding the dry rock with life. You might want to read this thread though: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30697
