Wait to WC untill you have no ammonia and nitrite readings. Run phosphate remover if you can though.

Is there a kind of phosphate remover that I just pour into the tank? All I can find is phosphate remover that needs to be put into a filter

Nope use the stuff you need to put in a filter bag and put it in high flow or in a media chamber/reactor

I forgot to ask this, I've had the sand ffrom my SW tank in a tub for about a month which has been sitting in my shed. It's in a plastic container with a lid ion it. Will this be ok to put back in my SW tank with the curing LR? It dosn't smell horrible at all.
