Id say try to pick up some freebies from a store with a snail problem. to replenish your stock and increase the amount of them producing eggs.

Yep, I always check petsmart and petco tanks for ramshorns... One petsmart had a lot of them a few months ago!

So I imagine that's what it was... because this week the rocks look good...

I also went and purchase some snails, last time they gave some but they just moved last month so they cleaned out alot of the aquariums to move them so they don't have an infestation anymore... :( Didn't cost alot anyways but still, they didn't have the model I had, so I purchased some (they called them) miniature red snails. the biggest one is about ½" large, we'll see how they live up!!!

I hope they treat you well. I am actually dealing with a ramshorn shortage atm. Due to over harvesting. Tons of pond snails but none of the are really big enough for frank(avatar pic). Hoping some of the eggs on the glass are ramshorns.

How are your exepriences with snails on ebay. I have 2 stores that i can grab them free. But these store fish usually have one thing or another wrong with them so it requires me to qt the snails for at least 3 weeks before feeding any of them to my puff.

I've only bought baby mystery snails on eBay and they arrived fine (a few years ago) and now I'm still looking for baby pink/purple ones now. I miss them. I had looked into buying ramshorns online last year before I was about to get a lot at my lfs

The Ramshorns I have now were purchased through ebay. I ordered 10+ and and got 17 snails. They shipped from Montana to Florida in 2 days with no losses during transit. They were insulated very well with several layers of newspaper, aluminum foil and what looked like pillow stuffing. I ordered brown ramshorn snails but there were about 4 pink snails as well. Needless to say, I was very satisfied.

Well I still have no luck, it's been a week now and still no result, no casualties neither... They have a big leaf of lettuce in the bottom of the tank, what would be a good different food for them, since they don't seem to eat a lot of it??? Would a moss ball be good???

I do give some flake food sometimes, but kinda figure maybe the "moss" thing I had earlier might be some of these that went uneaten... so not sure if I should of continued or not...
