copepod explosion in tank...?
It's been about a month since my Borneo puffer has arrived and he's looking great! I noticed today during feeding time a bunch of white little spots. Didn't think much of it till I saw some crawling. I used to actually have some smaller copepods in this tank, very similar to the ones I have now, except it was a long time ago. I know they will do no harm but what would have caused them to just pop up all of a sudden. There have been no changes in my water parameters. Although my nitrAtes have not risen, there is more waste in the tank due to the sloppy eating of this puffer. I also started dosing Potassium this week for a minor plant issue I'm fixing. Ideas?
