angler with dogface puffer ?

Post by flamenco-t »

I have been eyeing on a small angler, he's about 2" or so and my dogface is about 3-4". The angler is pretty docile and my dogface is pretty calm. He's been living with a small damsel and never bothered anyone.

How is my chance of success of keeping the angler and the dogface together ?

He's a wartskin angler which gets no larger than 4" tops...there's plety of rock where the angler can hide and camoflage himself.

As long as your puffer doesn't bite at it, thinking it's a rock.

my puffer never bothered any rock like. He loves polyps and xenias lol..they're all gone out of the tank obvioulsy.

So I can assume, this is good to go ?

Yeah I think you'll have no problems keeping them together.

I know how expensive those anglers are... I actually have one! You jsut never know with a puffer. I have heard stories about puffers that have been "buddies" with clownfish for many years (swam together, slept together) & then one morning the clown had been eaten by the puffer.
