My 55 gallon

Post by jefferzbooboo »

I just moved everything from 20 gallon to my 55 gallon tank :) For livestock I for now have a Pink Spotted Puffer and a Blue Head Wrasse. I have a couple of Stony Corals. I only have 10 lbs of live rock in the system, but I like the way the big open space looks (and at the LFS its $10 a lb).
My next fish i'm thinking are some sort of Dwarf Angel, 2 Firefish, and a couple of gobies later on when the tank gets more established.
Any thoughts or suggestions on the livestock?

What kind of lights do you have for the stony corals, and what kind are they?

Id recommend a six line wrasse, they are great little fish, I dont know if it will have problems with the blue head, but six lines are great at keeping the tank free of flat worms and other small pests.

I have added a Firefish and a Jewel Damsel currently. I have a nasty hair algae problem that i'm trying to currently fix right now, thinking of getting a Emerald Mithrax or a Sea Hare to take care of it. The only thing I don't like about the Sea Hare is having to supplement it after it eats all the algae. Any thoughts?
