Tank size question for valentini

Post by tslabaugh »

I am on the market for an aquarium to set up a FOWLR tank. I came across a good deal on a 30g oceanic cube. Would this be big enough for a valentini? I know they are small, but like any puffer like to swim alot? The dimensions are approx. 21x18x22. Would this be enough swimming room for the lil guy or should I look at a more normal shaped tank?

IF its big enough that would be the only fish you could keep in it. If u plan on having more than that 1 puffer find urself atleast a 55g after u add rock and such would be very little room for a fish to swim I'd think in that 30.

Thanks, after thinking about it....I decided it wouldn't be good for a puffer. I found a 58g for a good deal so I might be getting ALOT more fish room! :o
