Hi Courtney!
I have a fingerprint toby (C. Compressa) which is similar to your saddled toby (C. Valentini). What type of info would you like to know?
Here's what I can tell you... they do get to around 4 inches and can live in a 20 gallon tank (although going slightly bigger is preferred). They eat a varied meaty diet (chopped up shrimp, squid, clams, krill) and in addition, I give mine some of the frozen formula foods (formula one and two). His absolute favorite though is freeze dried mini krill soaked in Zoe.
My guy is fairly aggressive. I took a chance and tried to house him with my porc, but he started nipping at my porc's fins almost instantly. Needless to say, I ended up putting him in his own tank. I'm not sure if the valentini's are as aggressive, and if he (she?) is getting along with your GSP then you'll probably be okay, but I would definitely watch for fin nipping.
Mine loves to spit water at me when I try to feed him. He'll poke his nose out, look at me, and spit water (I'm still waiting for my porc to pick up this habit). That's usually his way of saying "pay attention and feed me!"
Anyway, I hope this helps out. Good luck with your little friend!

80 degrees is fine. I keep all of my saltwater tanks between 76 and 80. I wouldn't take it up much farther though (I think 82 would be the max).
I'm glad your GSP and Valentini are getting along. I've read that GSPs can be fairly territorial (although my GSP is a big coward - I've seen him get bullied by fish 1/4 his size) and I'm glad its working out. Do you have any pictures?
