Mine won't touch any veggies but peas.

give them peas and they go crazy. They actually steal them right out of each other mouths.

Mine (porc and GSP) also go crazy for peas... it's like puffer crack. I have to make sure they don't see the peas until I get them to eat something else, otherwise they'll ignore the other food until I drop the peas in. I was thinking about trying corn, but wasn't sure if it was good for them. Anyone try corn?

I never thought of carrots (I personally hate them). I wonder if my puffers would eat them...

I've considered it, but wasn't sure how they'd handle the sugar. I saw them stare at me with a look of hunger as I was eating a bannana one morning, although they give me that look anytime they see me eating something (or just plain see me). :)

LOL, I was eating an apple and he seemed real interested in it, but like you say Dan I get that hunger look a lot too. I think i'll try him with a few puffer crack peas and see if he goes for them.

Be careful Hilly. If your puffer hasn't been introduced to peas yet, you don't know what you're in store for. My porc will actually sulk in a corner if I don't give him a few peas with his meal. Needless to say, I now have a freezer full of them. :D

I'll be careful, if he gets too addicted, he'll just have to go to puffer rehab. :D
