Have a read of these about dyeing and the last one is when dyeing just isn't enough for them. Sickening.

 I think it is gross and inhumane what they are doing to these poor helpless fish. It should be illegal to do that to any fish worldwide.

Where did you find that Blue Puffer?

It does look sad. In fact, to me he looks sick and miserable.

Voila! Isn't it dazzling? This shows that fishes too need to spice up their lives with some colour!
That just makes me sick.. I've seen some in Walmart that I'm pretty sure have been injected or 'tattooed' and it makes me sad and angry. Fishies are naturally beautiful, so why would anyone want to put these little creatures thru this torture?

Though that porc puff could easily have been dyed, he also could have been Photoshopped. Here's a great page on what disreputable sellers can do with Photoshop to make their animals look more exotic for sight-unseen sales (mail-order or over the Internet):

Click on "Caresheet" near the top left. Type "Fabricated Photographs" into the "Search a keyword" box or scroll down a bit to see Photoshopped images of blue-tongued skinks in Technicolor.

75-gal West African Lungfish + snails

Other pets: Pacific parrotlet, Italian Greyhound, lots of plants
