I will very soon be adding a stars and stripes puffer to a 180 gallon tank that has been running for over two years. The puffer is about 2 inches and will be
all by himself in the tank because I recently got rid of all other fish. The inverts that remain in the tank are fair game for the puffer. My question is what method
is best for acclimating the little guy and how long should I do it? Should I float the bag and poke holes in it or float the bag for temperature and periodically add
water from the tank into the bag. I know I have to empty majority of the diluted water in a bucket before setting the little guy free, but what method works best?

What should the temperature and salinity be kept at for the Stars and Stripes puffer?
