Thanks for the support!

Yes I assumed he would not eat at first. I decided to just start treating for parasites right off the bat since he seems to be in a fair condition.

Quick question!

How many day should I expect my fish not to accept food? In other words, after what day does it stop being a "getting used to a new environment issue"?

I am currently treating with prazipro.

I have tried feeding fresh (human food) muscles and
Shrimp. Raw of course.

I've also tried earthworms and squid. I tried soaking things in garlic as well.

About 10 min after releasing him in to QT, I tried feeding. At this point in time, he swam up to the food, looked at it closely, and then swam away. He did this with all the food.

Now, he couldn't care less. He does not even
Acknowledge the fact that food is being put in the tank. He simply keeps swimming

Try soaking his food in garlic, to enhance appetite.

I tried soaking with garlic. He didn't buy it :(

But on a happier note, I read a thread on MFK. Pufferpunk, you posted in that thread as well.

Someone who bought a dog face and a burrfish had difficulty getting the burrfish to eat.

What she ended up doing was catching the burrfish and then rubbing the food on its mouth. I believe she was using silersides.

I tried this and got the exact same results. My puffer bites and intakes it in to his mouth. He actually kept down a small piece of shrimp but when I tried again, he spat everything out.

I will try this again tomorrow and hopefully he can keep more of it down.

Does this indicate anything to you experts :)?
